5th November 2014 -Sweet Emporium

Some wonderful old houses in Tissington Village and lots of dry stone walls which I love. This is the Sweet Emporium which was heaving with people when I last visited in the summer. Now out of season and everything was closed. It was very bright and sunny with deep shadows so this was quite hard to get a decent shot. It needed some editing in LR to bring out the shadows.

Uploaded for my extras album
I love the shadows here. Plus the stone wall.

Love the leading line of the stone wall! And the classic look of a pub or inn. And the fact that it is sitting at the base of a hill. So many lovely things about this shot!

Gorgeous shot Pam. I love these old stone buildings. As for what is inside I can only image the goodies to be found there.

I really like the way you've captured the feel of this place Pam. Despite your hassle with the light and shade it's worked to your favour in terms of atmosphere.

That's such a pretty place Pam, typical English countryside. Makes me miss the open spaces when I am surrounded by bush.
