Not sure if there is a collective name for seagulls all standing on each other - a bit like a rugby scrum. They were all fighting for a piece of bread a young girl had thrown into the water. They were all making a lot of noise!! Perhaps feeding frenzy is a better description.
Its great to see how they use their wings and their tail feathers to control their flight action! I wonder how they know its food or not! We threw some cherry pips at some seagulls and they didn't move!
