We went to the seaside today - Wells Next the Sea in Norfolk on the East coast. A beautiful sunny day - and quite warm if you were out of the wind.. The beach is stunning - it goes on and on and the sea is in the far distance. A very dangerous beach as the tide comes in very quickly and people can get cut off. It was doggy paradise - my nephew's two - Badger and Ella and of course Finlay. We had a competition - who could draw or make the best S shape in the sand. This was Colin's S and I have had a little play with it in PS.
Great shot for the challenge and love your processing. Is this the beach at Holkham Hall. My mum lives in Norfolk, and it is one of my favorite places to go when I am visiting her, then a stop off in Wells to get some fish and chips. I have not been home in over a year, and seeing this and your other shot from Wells has made me quite nostalgic.
@ukandie1 We went on the beach about 1 mile from Wells and it was amazing - the sea was so far out we never actually reached it. We drove back into Wells and stopped off for Fish and Chips and sat on the harbour wall to eat them. Delicious!! When we left Wells we drove through Brancaster and passed Holkem Hall. I read on Google last night that most of the area is part of the Holkem Estate. A lovely day out in the sunshine. I do not know the East coast very well and the beach was a big surprise. We also passed the sign for Sandringham and I thought it would be nice to pop in and see if we could have afternoon tea with the Queen!! LOL!!
