I was taking a shot of my fabulous white hydrangea when I spotted this ant crawling over the flowers. Really pleased to get something different!!

Now "Ants"...they fascinate me! And the big black garden ants (that love my peonies)...if I find one inside, I carry it back out. There's something more animal-than-insect about them to me and I can't just mash it... The colour pairings here are gorgeous!
