Today I sat for an hour and recorded all the birds who visited my garden for the Big RSPB birdwatch which happens every year. I managed to get a quick shot of most of the visitors. Please note it is two different robins - there is definitely a pair!! It was raining so the quality was not what I would wish for normally. The image in the centre is the backside of a wren which was what I caught - twice!! He just moves soon quickly!!
Well done you, the weather here was miserable and I am afraid I did my Garden Bird Watch from the conform of the conservatory but we also had a pair of robins. the one in the middle bottom looks as though he has some nesting material in his beak!
@judithdeacon I took all of these shots from the lounge through the window. Too wet in the garden!! I am concerned as the robin has something caught in his beak which looks like nylon. I hope he hasn't swallowed something. I will keep an eye out but not sure what I can do about it.
