I was trying out bracketing with this camera and as I came out of the house I took a few shots looking into my car. Lots of reflections and even a selfie!! LOL!!
Processed in Photoshop HDR and LR. I cannot get Photomatix Pro onto my Mac for some reason. I cannot see how you install? I gave up in the end.
Aha -- a selfie!!
Photomatix should work, but I remember having to have someone at the university tech center help me. I'd call their help line -- they were very helpful when I did that -- I think it started with an email to them and then they contacted me...or something like that. The Aurora one that Marnie recommended is as nice as Photomatix, btw.
@quietpurplehaze When I got to the country park the wind was bitter across the lake. I put a hat on top of the woolly band and then had to put my hood on top. My face was frozen!! It is winter I suppose!! LOL!!
@taffy I might give them a call. It is probably something simple. I can use it from the disc but it won't let me install (can't see how to do it) and I can't install the LR link either .
@quietpurplehaze It feels cold enough!! Our central heating broke down yesterday but thankfully a lovely young man from British Gas came and sorted the problem. Nice and cosy now!!
@pamknowler My LR link is under File --> Plug-In Extras --> Photomatix. It's not under "Edit In" and same is true for Aurora. But Textures is under Edit In. Not sure why the difference.
@taffy I have checked there and it just isn't installed. I was never asked the question to Install when I put the disc in. I entered the product code but it has definitely not installed. Now I have taken the disc out Photomatix does't show up anywhere. I don't know enough about installing software!! Thanks for your help.
@pamknowler@taffy My PPro is under Edit In in LR. I've found Victoria Bampton's book LRCC/6 to be invaluable in solving these sorts of problems. If you have any kind of instruction book on LR check out how to install a(another) external editor. I've got umpteen installed, the only one that works differently is Aurora which is found under Export. Go to LR's Edit>Preferences>External Editor. In the bottom part of the window that comes up hit Choose and select the app you want. Set the other Prefs 'to taste'. In the Preset menu, select Save Settings as a New Preset and name your editor (mine have always named themselves). That new external editor will now appear as the secondary (to PS) external editor and what's there now will shuffle down the list. Hope that helps.

Bitter wind here too this afternoon - wonder if it will snow?!
