The huge face on the left is the Crown Fountain (thanks Taffy for giving me the correct name) and it is wonderful. There are two faces looking at each other and the expressions are continually changing. Approx every 20 minutes she puckers her lips and water spurts out of her mouth. It's brilliant!! Children and Sarah love splashing in the shallow water!!
Artists get so much creative freedom in cities lately it seems, or I'm just seeing a lot of pictures of the only places it happens, because suddenly I'm seeing a lot of different sculptures and fountains using materials I've never seen used that way. I love this.
The fountain looks eerie this way! When you edit -- it's 'Crown' fountain. Just as a reminder. I think this is such a fun shot as it contrasts nicely with the one I posted -- such different 'takes' on the same scene.
