We joined the famous Cabot Trail and very soon the colours spread as far as you could see. Breathtaking views all along the trail. Many stops for photo opportunities. It says you can drive the Cabot Trail in 2 hours and it took us 2 days with many stops to take in the stunning scenery!!
@milaniet Indeed, this IS a place where you won't want to rush. but IF you did, the trail still takes about 2.5 hr to drive. The following problem is that there's little-to-no housing along the way as much of it is federal park land. You have to be careful to meter your time so you can see it all during daylight and reach your destination by dinnertime! And having said that, as we watched the map to chart our way, we'd only gone about 1/8th of the way in the first 2.5 hours! @pamknowler Good memories and a lot of laughs and gasps, right Pam?!
