King of the wild frontier!! Showing my age - does anyone remember Davy Crocket with his racoon hat? I remember my cousin had a Davy Crocket hat and he used to have it on and sit on the arm of the sofa -riding his horse - I think we were about 5 years old!! LOL!!
I shudder to think of all the little raccoons whose tails festooned young boys hats "back in the day"... my brother was one of them... You were smart enough to get this lovely image of this gorgeous tail... The desire to pick him up and give him a cuddle can become overwhelming. (And then I remember what a cat nip was capable of doing, and I think better of it!)
