Union Station by pamknowler

Union Station

I have never seen Amish people before and was fascinated when we saw so many at Union Station waiting on the concourse - I wondered where they had been and where they were going? The young family in the middle were very sweet and told me their little girls was 11 months old. They seemed very shy. The lady on the right was making a hat similar to the one she was wearing. The man on the left seemed more interested in who was following him. I really must find out more about these people as the only idea I have is from watching the film "Witness" - one of my favourite films!!

Uploaded for my extras album

Very interesting indeed. I've seen quite a few tv documentaries on them. The women and children seem very shy indeed.

This tells the story well, and it's so respectful of each family and individual featured.

Masterfully done, Pam! Taffy said it well! I have a wonderful book about the Amish that I think you will enjoy...bringing it to Ca. It's a quick and easy read, and so insightful...told from an artistic perspective... Want to comment on so much more, but up at 6 and it's midnight now. Accomplished a lot today, but lots more to go! Just dropping by!
