My great niece Sophie came over this morning and asked me to take some photos for her art project. She wanted someone in the image - Nanny would be best as her project is about the 1950's and Nanny was alive then!! So funny!! The person had to be doing something and she wanted it to look arty!! This is Barbara reading her love letters from Jim when he was away in Hong Kong for 2 years in the army. Sophie wanted Finlay in the shot too. We finally decided to take it looking into the mirror on the wall.
This was my favourite and thankfully Sophie liked it too. I think it's going to be blown up large.
I hope I get good marks for this art project!! LOL!
Oh Pam, I absolutely *ADORE* this gorgeous image!!! It's **EVERYTHING**! If Sophie doesn't get an A+, send that teacher to have a chat with me and I'll set her straight! You've done wonderful photography as long as I've known you, but for beauty and sensitivity, this , to me, is the cream of the crop!
Mirrors open doors we can't imagine until we start dabbling with them. This is timeless and VML how this represents/symbolises moments and memorabilia threading through generations...worldwide. Jus splendid!
