This is Thursday last week, I've only just got round to posting it !!
Lunchtime walk at work, mobile phone - no cameras allowed at work, so it must be canal time again.
You've not seen this bit of the canal yet, although some of the bridges are a tad similar on the small stretch I walk along.
I bobbed down low on the waters edge to emphasise the lead in lines to the bridge.
This man and his dog came out of the bridge and I quickly clicked. I did wonder if I should click while they were under the bridge, but I decided they may get lost in the shadows.
The lighting is not too good but my little HTC desire seemed to do the job again.
BTW: I may be doing the man and his dog an injustice....but I don't think this guy was a 'responsible dog owner' .The canal path had a fresh 'parcel' when I backtracked my way back under the bridge to where I'd come from and no other dog walkers passed me on on my walk !!! Sorry if that is too much information !
I have done a B/W of this image, which works well, but decided you needed a colour image :)
Phil - colour is good here, and I think youwere right to get the man once he was out of the shadow. Otherwise he would have obscured the view through the bridge. - Good Job.
@sbconifer@phil_howcroft Sheryl you're cracking me up. I was just showing Andrew some photos on here today and we were laughing at Phil's sense of humor about the canal pics. Then I saw my SIL's comment and that was even funnier. Andrew reads me comments from my UK "friends" in a British accent. He's a funny boy. He does a pretty good German accent, too.
@meredithwb Thanks Meredith, I'm glad I am able to make you smile and laugh when it comes to 365. It's a nice on line community to be part of :)
As for Andrew doing my comments in a British accent , I bet his accent is more 'Hugh Grant' (posh British actor) than 'Phil Howcroft... Although I live in Nottingham, my accent is a northern England accent. A Bolton accent.... I talk more like the comedian in the you tube clip below ... Peter Kay . ..we draw out our vowels and 'O 'becames an 'Ohhh' and an 'A' becames an 'aaaaaay' and an 'E' becomes an 'eeeeeeey' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFz-ViYM-ow&feature=related
