INSIDE THE ORANGE TULIP by phil_howcroft

INSIDE THE ORANGE TULIP

Friday afternnon was spent enjoying the spring sunshine in the garden.

We have some stunning purple tulips, but because they are in such a big clump, they were too difficult to photogrpaph.

We also have some lovely orange tulips that have been out for a couple of weeks now, so the orange tulips became my Friday picture

This is a study of the inside of one of the orange tulips. The photograph was helped beacause the sun was shining on the back of the flower rather than directly into it., therefore making the lighting even and therefore avoiding blown out highlights :). The inside actually looks a bit like a bumble bee to me !!

Anyway this is a hand held shot with my little panasonic TZ7.

I'm still behind on my uploads, but I should be up to date by the end of the weekend !

hey, the little Lumix has done what it does best - at macro level these little dudes are great!!! superb colours and great focus! well shot!
