Victoria Centre Pedestrian Crossing - The 'Green Man' says 'cross'

On Saturday I took a photo of what is probably the busiest pedestrian crossing in Nottingham.

http://365project.org/phil_howcroft/365

This scene is shot from the opposite side of the road from Saturday's image. I knelt down low (in the rain) to get a good view of the crossing. As you can see the green man was green and the rush to cross the road was in full flow :)

It was a bank holiday in the UK and we were expecting to spend it sat in the garden enjoying a bit of sun. As you can see from the image, it was wet and raining.

We went into Nottingham because we had some 'Tesco vouchers' for 'Bella Italia' that were about to expire. So rather than having a day in the garden we had a meal in a city centre restaurant !! Rather than eating 'el fresco' we sat in the restaurant window people watching !

Great capture! I like people watching

Lovely shot, the greyness is lifted by the colourful clothing breaking it all up.
I adore window watching, but mostly it al fresco as we tend to take the whippets with us even in town - they love it! It was lovely weather here.
