The view from the 58 bus

It's quite some time since I did a "view from the top deck of the 58 bus"....

I'm sure you are not surprised to see that the view for part of the journey...the view from the bus ...is in fact a 'bus lane'.

This is Mansfield Road, Carrington, Nottingham. One of the main roads heading north out of the city. At rush hour it is a busy road.

I'm struggling with time to post photos at also take photos and as usual I am always a ccouple of days behind on loading my pics.

Great perspective. I definitely feel the altitude!

great perspective - so what happens when there is a car in the bus lane, is the bus allowed in the car lane - and more importantly...is the bus fined for going in the car lane seeing as us car drivers are fined for going in the bus lane? LOL great long road and disappearing lines. I'm struggling catching up Phil, know the feeling!

What is that car doing parked facing the wrong way in a bus lane, it looks odd to say the least! A very straight road & remarkably quiet, looks like a garage on the left just past the car.

When I saw this Phil, I thought of the top of the double decker bus! I know exactly what your saying with regards to time, shots & loading ... don't stress too much :p

And I bet the bus driver is delighted that there's a car parked right there! The lines go on converging forever!!

@judithg thanks judith...you're never short of a shot on the 58 bus...although the bus lane is only 'bus only' at peak hours :)
