Who needs a shiny brass padlock when you can have a rusty bolt.

Spotted at Papplewick Pumping Station when Arnold and District Camera Club visited on Thursday evening

I love this shot - colours composition textures, the patina of age and wondering what is behind that door with the rusty old nail for a latch! Magic!

A bit of rust is always good for a creative photo. (BTW it was a hatinator - somewhere in between a hat and a fascinator! You learn something new every day.)

That is a proper door fastening.....just the right shaped old bolt......there will be no messing about losing keys here! The latest colour in paint too....very trendy!
