Any ideas what these are?

They are on top of the soon to be opened Gedling Country Park.

We think they are going to form part of an energy park and will have solar panels put on top of them.

Makes for a nice photo and should be an even nicer one when topped with some shiny panels :)

I think you are right. If you process it in B&W, it will look like some futuristic technology in a sci fi movie.

Yes - a solar farm - we have a huge one nearby - I found it remarkably un-eco looking although somehow now there is quite a lot of grass growing. Millions of pounds of stuff in a a field!
