Once A Place Of Worship (Baptist Centenary Sunday School)

Well you know when you are struggling for some creativity on your 365 when you photogrpah a brick wall !

This is a former place of worship, The Baptist Centenary Sunday School in Basford, Nottingham. Now the home of a knitware factory.

Shot on a wet lunchtime walk, with my mobile phone.

I wish that Range Rover wasn't peeking into frame. The Audi on it's own makes a decent addition to the stark brick wall.

Awesome shot

At least it's a brick wall with character

Yes, its just too far forward to crop it out! This place looks rather severe for a Sunday school - like you would be locked up in here until you learnt all the books of the Bible!

Cool capture. It doesn't look very welcoming, especially for a Sunday.

That wall could tell a few stories! Wonder why the ground floor windows have been bricked up and then had glass bricks let into them?
(Think it would be possible to clone out the Rover, btw. Fiddly but possible :-) )

Oh wow - an unusual change of use these days to become a factory instead of closing one!

Awesome brick....makes for great textures and color. Really doesn't look much like a church ..not the typical church windows your would expect. Good catch Phil.
