The snow tram by phil_howcroft

The snow tram

It snowed on 26/27 December and the snow still won't go away.

I always like to slip a tram picture into my 365. This is one of Nottingham's newest trams (they have had a redesign , more sleeker and shinier), moving silently along the snow tracks of Basford.

The building overlooking the trams is empty office space, never occupied and falling into serious disrepair / neglect.

Some nice shiny reflections in the windows of the tram
Lovely winter scene ... and the light is so pretty. Doesn't look like a lot of snow...but more then I would like. Such a modern sleek looking train. Thank you Phil for all your support and lovely comments. Always look forward to seeing what you are up to and wishing you and your family a lovely New Year!

They are electric, I presume - the silent mover and fast and efficient! Probably warm inside too! Great to see!

The red scarf-looking object attracted my attention immediately I saw this shot. It adds so much colour to this beautiful capture of the tram.

I really like trams....sort of silent elegant ladies gliding smoothly through the towns. This is a lovely view of the snowy track & modern looking tram. This picture has a sort of Russian look about it .....modern tram but rather down at heel Gerry built buildings.
Thanks for your support over the year for my project & a Happy New Year to you & your family Phil.

I love the lines in this image. Mostly the tracks, but also the guide wires.

Love the bright, crispy cold 'feel' to this and the curves of the track sweeping through the shot.
