50 mono portraits at 50mm : No. 32 : Fontaine

It was model night at camera club tonight. We usually have one model night a year

Club member Verity organises the models (usually 2) and members photograph them using the club studio lights.

Verity was let down at the last minute by her models and therefore asked her daughter Fontaine to stand in at the last minute. Hayley also brought her daughter Hannah down.

I rarely take my camera down to model night as I tend to feel uneasy in a formal situation. However, I thought I might be able to grab a shot for my 50 mono portrait series, so this is my attempt at photographing Fontaine

Verity appeared very early on on my series, so you can see Fontaine's Mum by clicking below ....

Beautiful! Just to let you know, Phil - sign up for the next Scavenger hunt is this Saturday, Mar 14 at 12 noon mountain time. If you like, I can proxy you. Just be sure to add Chrysta Rae to your circles.

@timandelke thanks elke, very kind of you, what is a scavenger hunt (google+ ), is it difficult ?
March 12th, 2015
@phil_howcroft not difficult at all! It's great fun. You sign up - only open to 500 entrants, so spaces fill up fast. Then you're told the rules and given a list of ten items. Usually we have two months to submit the ten. They are then sent for judging - sometimes there are even prizes! But the most fun is the reveals - when you see all 500 images that describe a single word, you'll scratch your head at times, thinking "why didn't I think of that?" or "how did he do that?" let me know if you want to play. I'll be signing up and I'm pretty sure that Cathy Donohue will as well
