My First 365 Robin

I was in the kitchen putting the dishwasher on and I saw this Robin having a bath in our birdbath.

I rushed upstairs to get my 60D. By the time I came down he had gone, but I could hear him singing away.

I spotted him in the Silver Birch tree and went up the garden (no shoes on - couldn't waste time putting my shoes on) and shot a few hand held images.

So this is it, my first Robin 4 years in !!!

High ISO and aperture wide open, but he is a welcome 1st Robin to my photostream :)

Thsi is exquisite - really your first robin on 365? Worth waiting for then. Why can I not give it 6 faves. The detail is fantastic. (I tried to get a robin this morning but all that was on offer was a pigeon sitting on top of the fatball holder wondering how he could get to the last ball!!)
