This is Anne Marie's Caravan at the Goose Fair In Nottingham.
One of my work colleagues / co-workers, Geoff, is Anne Marie's cousin and asked me if I would photograph her caravan and her mother's caravan at the Goose Fair. Geoff had built and painted the hoarding that is erected on the outside of the caravan and wanted me to take some pictures of it.
I told Geoff I would, but I was a little hesitant about just turning up and taking random pictures.
Geoff said he would let them know that I might turn up, so they would not be alarmed by a stranger taking pictures of the caravan and business.
When I arrived I took some pictures and when I saw Anne Marie at the door I went over to introduce myself as a colleague of Geoff.
Anne Marie was really friendly and was happy to let me take some pictures.
She asked me into the caravan and introduced me to her husband and son.
I then took some more pictures and Anne Marie let me take a couple of portraits. I also took some family shots of Anne Marie, her husband Colunus and her son Brandon.
She also introduced me to her Mum, Rosa, who also posed for a portrait too.
Oh and Colunus took some pics of Anne and myself too.
I said I would print some of the pictures and give them to Geoff and he would then give them to Anne and her family
Fav for a lovely and unusual photo. I like the b&w portrait you posted of Anne but I'm also pleased to see the beautiful colour of her hair in this shot.
@quietpurplehaze thanks haze, I wanted to post the portrait of Anne in colour, but I struggled getting her hair colour correct in post processing and the colour shot wasn't that flattering to her :-)
Well I call that an amazing opportunity & honour Phil......they must have taken to you big time! Interesting subject too.....you must have been pleased with the chance! Did you have your palm crossed with silver?
