Top end of the Waitrose wine aisle and when I mean 'top end', I don't mean the end of the aisle (although it was actually at the end).
Shot while shopping at Waitrose (the title gives it away). I noticed the nice light and the contemporary design of the shelves. I decided a diagonal rotate of my camera might showcase the bottles even better.
Waitrose own brand Chilean Carmenère or the Chilean Mont Gras Reserva Carmenère come highly recommenced by the Howcroft household :) although at £8-99 a bottle they don't quite fit into the "top end", but the quality of the wine is "top end" :)
@dulciknit thanks alison, just a quick few pics with my little panasonic TZ7 , i was aware i was photographing inside the store and didn't want to get into trouble for doing so. I got a similar one with white wines, but my preference for red made me post this :)
I like the angle of this shot - well done. Without a glass of good wine to help the food down, no meal is good enough. I love the red wine - no particular choice.
I like a glass of wine but I drink less & less these days as it doesn't seem to agree with me worse luck. I am actually drinking a bottle at the moment as it was opened by mistake. This is expensive wine & woukd be totally wasted on me although I do tend to buy NZ which is middle of the road. G&T is my preffered tipple but I can drink a few glasses before I feel any effect.
I am always impressed when I see a shot of something so ordinary made into shot a good shot! Like the tilt and how it has made patterns. The display is appealing too. Might have to seek out that wine.
