"Hello Stranger"

This is a photo from last month's Nottingham Carnival

The lady on the right hand side of the frame wearing the Derby T-Shirt is Margaret, stranger number 44.

I photographed Margaret at the 2016 Carnival.

As I was walking along the embankment before this years Carnival parade started, I heard a voice shouting and waving to me. It was Margaret.

"I didn't recognise you without your costume" I told Margaret.

Margaret had kept in touch with me via email after the 2016 Carnival and sent me the dates of all the summer 2017 Caribbean Carnivals (which we used to visit the Leicester Carnival)

Anyway, I had a little chat with Margaret and told her I would take some pics of her Derby Troup as they paraded along the carnival route
