I was off work for a few days this week and on Wednesday we went into Nottingham shopping.
Whenever we go into Nottingham, I go for a little wander around the streets with my camera.
As I walked across the market square I saw a group of young men who were wearing white leisure wear. I thought they looked like they might be a marshal arts team ! I decided to approach them and ask them what they were doing.
As it turned out they were models who were wearing fashion items from a clothing company known as distinkt , who were about to launch a new set of accessories, known as the Ying and Yang collection.
I told them all about my 100 strangers project and asked if any of them would like to be one of my strangers. Quite a few showed interest, but Louis stepped forward first, so asked him to walk over towards the council house, so I could use its stonework as a backdrop to the photo shoot.
Louis has been modeling for a number of months now and to quote Louis "he hasn't looked back since".
Louis really liked the images when I showed him them on the back of the camera and he was really keen to get some copies, so I gave him my contact card.
I've since been in contact with Louis and sent him a set of images which he described as "look brilliant".
This mono image (and the colour version) are his faves of the set (and my fave too), so I have gone with this one as my 100 strangers image.

The image was edited in Rawtherapee and then sent to GIMP to utilise the fabulous G'MIC black and white filter
Thanks for being stranger number 121 Louis, I am pleased you like the images.
