Festive Ruby by phil_howcroft

Festive Ruby

I had a photoshoot with Ruby this afternoon, using my vintage Yashica ML 50mm f1.7, v lens

I am annoyed that I included the label on her christmas collar, but the light from the window has lit her up beautifully , so the label pic stays !

Shot at about f2.0, I make a mental note of the aperture and then after a few adjustments forget which aperture I shot each pic on !!

Edited in Dark Table and GIMP
Such a gorgeous girl and beautifully capture Phil !

Didn't she pose well for you? You have mentioned various vintage lenses in your recent posts but what camera are you attaching them to.. and how?

@alinz thanks Ali, much appreciated

@willowdragon glad you like this Al

@yrhenwr David , all my vintage lenses (I've acquired a few in recent months from Charity shops, bric a brac shops and few of my late fathers) are attched to a Sony A6000 mirrorless camera (APSC sensor size) . The adapters are only a few pounds (£10 to £20) each ,

@phil_howcroft Thanks Phil. I have some Pentax ones which fit on most Pentax cameras and I only need an adapter to use the old M42 screw lenses on the cameras with bayonet mounts. Never thought of trying them on other makes.
