Carole's last day down in Wilts/Glos today, so we wound our way north from Corsham to Bibury, in the heart of the Cotswolds.
Bibury has a number of National Trust properties in Arlington Row; they started life, in 1330, as a monastic wool store, before being converted into weaver's cottages in the 17th century.
The weather was stunning (best day of the four) and the sun was in entirely the wrong place for this shot.
The entire village is delightful; you can, if you feel that way inclined, read more about the village by clicking here
It's nice to be able to compare yours & mine. Yours does show the wider picture. A friend of mine sent me a link to a news story, of when someone used to park a bright yellow car in the place of the one that is there in this picture. There were lots of complaints that it was spoiling people's photos & at one point it was even vandalised! The lenghs some people will go to for the perfect shot eh?!
Super shot Phil - and a lovely day for snapping.
If you ever fancy living here, the National Trust occasionally give rise to the opportunity to rent them. They recently advertised one at the following link
