East Midland’s Derby by phil_sandford

East Midland’s Derby

The big one, Leicester Tigers v Northampton Saints. Tigers, who were on the back of a 5 game winning run (including last week's demolotion of Bath Rugby at Twickenham) versus our near neighbours Saints, who had suffered their biggest ever home defeat last week to Saracens.

A banana skin if ever there was one, which is what I warned of on Twitter the day before.

Unfortunately it proved true; Tigers were beaten 21-27 by a Saints side who had nothing to play for other than pride and the pleasure in denting (if not ending) Tigers' hopes of a semi-final at the end of the seaon.

hey ho, that's sport
We always say “on any given day”.... when discussing sports wins and losses. We had some amazing upsets in our national college basketball tournament last month. This is a very nice stadium, and a great selfie of you.
