Not a clue what this butterfly is (a skipper?) but the lavender at Doddington Hall was awash with them. When ghey land, the immediately close their wings and look, well pretty boring. Using a weird technique of focussing on an alighted butterfly, I then look over the camera and take the shot the second I see them alight. This was my first attempt and, well, I got him.
Thank you for your views, comments and favs on yesterday’s offering. Much appreciated.
