Carole and I took a stroll around Hartsholme Country Park this afternoon (after a quick visit to B&Q to get another 2.5l of paint & a few other decorating bits n bobs and popping into the only toy shop in Lincoln, now Toys us has gone bust (Leah’s birthday in less than a week))
Spent a long time photographing the swans waiting to catch the drop of water that invariably falls from their beak after they’ve gone under the surface for food. I wasn’t disappointed.

@shutterbug49 Really? I wonder if some of the Pilgrim Fathers, who departed near Boston, Lincolnshire in 1620 (history says they set sail from Plymouth, but before that they left Boston and Gainsborough) settled near you and called it Lincoln?
