Have done almost nothing today. Literally nothing (other than get very angry at the idiot judgemental so called journalist asking stupid pointless questions to the Health Minister and Deputy Medical Officer after the daily Corona briefing.
Back in 1939 we didn’t have 10,000 Spitfires or Hurricanes stockpiled ‘just in case.’ I swear if Keunsberg, Rigby, Peston et al had been around back then they’d all be bitching to the Government and demanding to know why?!
Great shot. And I hear your point about the Spitfires or Hurricanes. Back then the whole country just pulled together and changed what they were manufacturing to accommodate the new and urgent needs
Love the comp of this photo and that old lamp. We have to pull together to get through this. When I was working in the UK in Leeds for 6 weeks, I fit in a tour of the Cadbury factory. They had a terrific museum that had many photos of how they switched their manufacturing for the war effort.
I so agree with you Phil, do the journalissts not listen to the briefing? And that stupid Scotish health minister should be fired as soon as this is over!!
interesting you say that - I only watch our official NSW Health media release each day, and the journalists are getting so stupid that I get angry that they waste our listening time when we could be given solid information!
Nice shot. I totally agree with you. I cant bear to watch the questioning. It’s the same thing over and over again. No one could ever have planned for this happening.
Totally agree. I now just listen to the Govt update and switch off before the questions. They have moved away from their initial sensible practical questions that had some merit to condemning, criticising, fearmongering rubbish. Journalism at its worst. Just when the country need support, they fill people's heads with stupid questions that don't need voicing.
I think Narnia sounds like an excellent plan. I shall go and open my wardrobe door now and see if I can find a way through.......
Lovely balanced photo
