Took a walk around Hartsholme Park this morning hoping to catch the Kingfisher. Sadly, a lot of the local dog walkers have said they haven’t seen him for about five weeks now. The light was poor, but I managed to catch this little beauty going up and down the trees near the kingfisher’s perch.

Our kingfisher has gone too, I'm told they go inland (but I think you are as inland it is possible to be?!) and to larger rivers to breed.
