Broken forest

Playing with a sawn log as an overlay, the result had me thinking of the old growth forest being cut down for wood chip. The cracks in the log cut through the photo as though it was broken.
Very deep I know, but thought I would put it out there.

I like this effect. When I first saw the photo, the edge of the log wasn't showing and I thought how clear the forest was with the fog on top.
