Quite different to the usual kangaroo pictures we post of Eastern Grey kangaroos, this is a young Red Kangaroo. Note the different facial and body characteristics.

Yes he is gorgeous. But for a stranger to kangaroos except for the general shape of one, I would have to see an image of the Eastern Grey to compare with this one to even begin to realise there are different facial or body characterisics. (I can't even identify how a wallaby differs from a kangaroo actually - I know that is probably pretty dumb...)
@seacreature very understandable. If you saw them side by side it would be obvious. Reds are bigger, with bigger ears and boxier faces oh - and red:) (except for the girls who are blue)
