Dry landscape

The stress on the gum trees from the drought is bringing out beautiful trunk colours. I dread to think what that means for their survival. A lovely photo bomber too!
We braved the smoke and went for a walk this morning, but it quickly rolled in and became very heavy:(
The land looks parched. So sad for. The trees and the wildlife there.

This photo depicts all that we see on the news. I hope things improve - in the UK there are many fund raisers going ahead as we see such sad scenes and are really scared for you all.

It is so sad to see everywhere so dry. Keep yourself safe and away from that smoke. Love the photo bomber.

So nice to see the kangaroo after reading that millions of animals have been annihilated by the fires. Sorry to read that the smoke is effecting your area. We pray for rain for the sake of Australia.

I’m glad to see the kangaroo. Your country has suffered too long with the fires, I’m so sorry.

I can see all sorts of "beings" in the roots and the rocks. Sad to think about the life the animals have right now. The trunk of the tree does have lovely colors.
