@ludwigsdiana yes it was Diana. First test run and zoomed right in I believe. @merrelyn off in a couple of weeks. Closing in fast! @rensala yes! Landing in London and staying a few days. First with friends and then in town. Any recommendations? @30pics4jackiesdiamond hi Jackie, London and then France. Should be amazing.
@rensala we'll stay centrally for only 2 nights, but all recommendations welcome. @30pics4jackiesdiamond that's a lovely offer Jackie. I suspect we will be pushed for time as the first few nights will be staying with friends. I'll certainly hunt the itinerary for opportunities, meantime any recommendations for top pic spots well received.
@pusspup
You friends will have a great itinerary ready I'm sure. But just in case .....
For people spotting the South Bank of Thames or Trafalgar Square ( the crypt of St Martin's in the Field is my fave go to for breakfast or lunch)
All big galleries and museums are free. The V and A is my personal favourite for photography ( and the cafe and outside pond fab for food and people watching!)
I'm sure others will flood you with recommendations too. ( oh The Silver Vailts are a hidden jem https://silvervaultslondon.com/ )
@pusspup A few more ideas, mostly obvious but for a couple of days only you will need to see the iconic stuff - Big Ben and Westminster; Covent Garden, St Paul’s, Tate Modern and the Millenenium Bridge; the Sky Garden; Little Venice and Camden Town canals. Enjoy your stay, hope the weather is kind
