True. A pure London scene complete with the telephone box. There are still a few of these telephone boxes in different places in Malta, but nowadays they are just for decorative and historic purposes.
A lovely shot of the tower that holds Big Ben, and the traditional telephone box. In many places new uses have been found for the old phone boxes, especially in rural areas. Some house defibrilators, some hold book exchanges or libraries. The modern red bus in the background is a so-called 'Boris Bus', purchased in large numbers when Boris Johnson, our former prime minister, was Mayor of London. He wanted them to become the modern equivalent of the traditional London bus, but after his time as Lord Mayor, no more were purchased, with more traditional, cheaper, more energy efficient buses were purchased.
I also like their red letter boxes..
