Lovely Hazel -at last I can compete !! ( not serious !!) my hostas are out & healthy I was only thinking Must photo these before the slugs have a feast !!!
I think the main two reasons we bought this house were in the garden: the stream and the fact that the garden was big enough for, and had, a water butt!
beautiful shot, love your stream, how lucky..........our hostas haven't got that tall and the leaves are lacey :( and that is despite them being in pots on stones!! We need more hedgehogs
@quietpurplehaze Oh, dear, I said that completely wrong. The first part was a teasing compliment on your having a stream in your garden, as in, inviting myself over because it all seems so wonderful-- your new bedroom decor, your garden, etc. the second part was about the holiday we're starting on today, a cruise from Moscow to St. Petersburg. Coming back to England's on the list, tho, especially since 365, and I'd never come without telling you. I intend to meet you!! 😊

Many thanks to you all. We also have hostas in pots which also, like those by the stream, will soon have lacy leaves, courtesy of slugs and snails.
