On my recent visit to Marwell Zoo to see Kanika, the Amur leopard cub, I found that she is now able to climb up on to this platform with her mum. Her tail still has a way to go though!
My Fuji X20 turns on and off with the lens barrel so most of my shots with the end of the lens pressed up against the glass of the enclosure (to eliminate reflections) had 'whirry' bits in the photos as the lens started to retract. This was the only presentable shot.
Actually, Kane, dithering me, I'm now having second thoughts about that new camera!!
I'm not too bothered abut the lens turning off in this situation. I was more surprised than anything until I realised what was going on!
Well, actually Darlene, you are right. I've put thoughts of a new camera to the back of my mind - perhaps my dream camera - like the Fuji X20 I already have but with a bigger zoom - is just around the corner! But I think I've got the hang of this FZ62 at last! Thanks for all your comments and generous favs.
