'red': the local church in the snow of January 2010

Ray took Jinks for a walk before breakfast and had the misfortune to meet the vicar with his alsatian. I say misfortune as this alsatian is the dog Jinks dislikes most in the world, not really sure why unless he knows that it's the only breed of dog which scares me. So after a hysterical bark at the alsatian, they carried on and then met two collies. Two collies together are the breed Jinks dislikes second in the world as two mounted an attack on him once. More hysterical barking and on to meet two Westies which Jinks usually likes - but.......
Time for a quiet breakfast now!
Poor Jinks, it really isn't his day is it :-( I hope it gets better for him!

And today we have the exact same day

ooops I see from my data here right that it was snow in December 2010 - not sure how that discrepancy arrived!

@gemtumble It's very sweet of you to have sympathy for Jinks. We tend to have sympathy for each other having to listen to his awful barking and not being able to pacify him in any way!!!

Sorry Jinks had such a terrifying morning. As i read his story, it resonates with human experiences too. Yes? Breakfast usually helps me too when I have a morning like that.

Poor Jinks, and poor Ray!!

@nana2r Yes, I guess it does. I'm sure Jinks was glad of his small dish of (high-quality!) dog meal when he got in!

@tishpics When we meet that alsatian ,it's impossibe to do anything with Jinks. He often barks at other dogs but this is something else - real venom or terror. If the vicar or I see each other coming, one of us goes the other way. The dog has never done anything to Jinks and in fact is the vicar's second alsatian and Jinks has been the same with both dogs so I do wonder if he knows that I am actually frightened of them - who knows?

@nana2r Well Jinks has done famously for food after all as he was in the garden with Ray this afternoon, who fed him when they came in and then I mistakenly fed him again. So he had two lots of tea!. (He didn't SAY anything!)

@gphelps5 Thanks I love the door too. I wonder if whoever painted it, thought how nice it would look in the snow when they did it!
December 8th, 2012
@samr His day ended rather well as he got his tea twice - Ray and I both gave it to him - lack of joined-up communication. (He didn't complain!)

December 9th, 2012
@ness50 Thanks - it's quite a picturesque church and seems to me as if it would fit more into a mountain scenery setting!

Wow! This is so pretty but so cold, really crossing fingers that we do not get this again this winter!
