I found that the fish-eye effect on my camera made the newly-decorated room look even more cosy - bit like Tolkien's Hobbit's house, I think!
Now for a nice evening meal and bottle of wine.
I guess I was feeling a bit hesitant about posting shots of the decorated room Beryl, so decided to use an effect - I tried several but liked this one - perhaps because it makes me feel a bit wobbly too!!!
Than k you. I'm trying to learn how NOT to do it, Paula! Have done lots of decorating over the years, including voluntary work for mostly elderly people who couldn't do their own and had nobody to do it for them. Now I myself don't really want to do it anymore.
No, no, no! This was only done because there was a bit of damp coming on our bedroom wall from the old chimney. So after the new chimney was built it was necessary to repair the wall in our room and then decorate.

I think I'll need to, Pat. I didn't do much decorating but I ache in places I don't normally ache!
I'm very glad I was trying to get into the bedroom and wasn't stuck inside it as I suffer from claustrophobia!
