....we all know and love. The wind was howling, the sky full of clouds and at this point we got over the wall on the right so as to keep our feet dry. Fawley Power Station on the horizon has lost half its chimney in the cloud and I doubt you will see Fawley Oil Refinery even if you could be bothered to view large! It was quite pleasant inland so we were a bit surprised to find this at Hillhead late afternoon.
Like you pov, summer is only taking a break. I'm so glad we are here in the Netherlands, with mostly sun and lovely temperatures, because it was hot, hot, hot ( up tp 37) back home
We seem to be luckier here --had Rain on two consecutive nights & another real downpour at lunchtime today-the rest of the time has been hot & sunny !! -- but at least no watering needed tonight !!
I like the weather when it's windy - does nothing for one's hair though, which doesn't bother Ray as he has hardly any! Jinks gets a bit excitable in the wind! So, no, not silly.
