Richard, thanks and for fav. Just in case you think I was climbing trees to take mistletoe shots, I'd like to say that this is the first low tree with mistletoe on it that I've seen!

Mistletoe is a parasite and grows on other trees. Said to favour apple trees but I don't know if that's true. Very unusual to find it on a low tree and it mostly makes large round balls high up in branches. I think this tree is some sort of fruit tree. I'm fascinated by mistletoe!

@quietpurplehaze thanks, Hazel. I did not know that. I wonder how the tradition of kissing under it came about. It's probably not so easy to find.
