@kiwigirl04 Sharlene, they do look yummy but I think you cannot eat them raw, but can make rosehip syrup from them.

@kiwigirl04 The flowers that precede these rosehips are simple, unassuming pale pink roses which look as if they are wild but a friend told me that they are actually cultivated. They have the most gorgeous scent.

@pyrrhula Thanks, not for jam but rosehip syrup and possibly, but not sure, could make rosehip jelly - like jam making but strain the liquid through a sieve so it's a clear jelly preserve. I'll try to find out!
