We met friends for lunch at a village pub today. Usually, in England, where you find a village pub, you also find a village church (or vice versa!). This was the reflection from one of the stained glass windows in the village church.

I think it was the norm for most villages to have a church, a shop and a pub. Sadly, as folk migrated to the towns,some pubs/shops disappeared and the churches were rather empty!
