Yesterday my camera and I were privileged to attend a cream tea organised by Canine Partners, having been invited by Gillian, our lovely vet, who is a trustee of the charity.
The afternoon was bright and sunny, a lucky contrast to the previous day when it rained all day long.
It was an interesting and enjoyable occasion, especially learning about the incredible partnerships between the dogs and their owners.
Photographically, I enjoyed the challenge of finding photo opportunities within a busy social gathering - and of coping with bright sun on pristine white tablecloths.
If I'm invited again, I hope to do better on both counts!
And I had no idea beforehand that Canine Partners' signature colour is purple...............
A small and belated September update for 2024, where I am still, after many years' membership, on 365 Project, also now posting elsewhere but wanting...
Purple haze on a purple Sundhaze ☺
Cool montage.
I had a "5 stranger sunday" yesterday. All of them with fabulous stories. It is going to take me a while to tell the stories and I am in a dilemma as to which one to do first as I have promised photos for 4 of them ☺
Like your comment, Phil, thanks! Do you have any tips for dealing with sundhaze? (Other than the obvious of course.) 5 strangers on one day is a heroic effort and quite a lot of work. I was happy to find 2 at the Canine Partners event, more than that makes me feel a bit overwhelmed. Good luck!
