My get-pushed partner @brigette asked me to scroll back through my recent Fav's and select one that you saved because you liked the style or technique used. My task was to select one that you know will extend your skill repertoire and try to replicate it.
I tried to replicate the photo by @novab of the keyboard (see http://365project.org/novab/365-year-3/2017-04-05). Nova was able to focus in on one key. My first challenge was to clean up my keep board. Every crumb, every smudge showed up in my photos. Then I tried every way I knew to only have one key in focus like she did. I wasn't as successful. I think I needed to make this more of a macro shot, but wasn't able to do that this week.
I don't mind at all Kathy, you did a great job. :) I had the same problem getting my keyboard clean too. If you are interested in trying again, I used my 85mm macro lens (F4.2), a tripod and used a portable light to help with my shot. I hope these hints might help you. :)
