Get Pushed Challenge #519
My partner challenged me to a double exposure image this week. Initially suggesting in-camera double exposure, I had realized my camera doesn't have this capability. So she agreed it could be done in post processing. My biggest challenge was the subject. Interesting enough the Buck Moon was the full moon this month. July is the anniversary of my husband's death and his father called him Buck. That's him smiling down on me in the view of the Buck Moon.
@jacqbb I just couldn't think of a subject for this challenge and almost ran out of time. I hope this is image will do. Every time I do a challenge I learn something new and work my creative "muscles". Thank you for this opportunity to learn and grow.
Oh Kathy this is absolutely amazing! First of all what a creative response to the challenge. Second of all a fabulous execution and finally this one gets it a FAV For all the symbolism in the photo!
Love how you tied this all together for your challenge! Your thoughts remind me of a poem my mom used to sing- I see the moon and the moon sees me. The moon sees somebody I'd like to see. God bless the moon and God bless me and God bless the somebody I'd like to see. I love the smiling face.
@wakelys Thanks Sue. He was mostly a happy guy. He said he'd guarantee a "smile per mile or a laugh a minute" on a road trip. @kali66 Thank you Kali. @kjarn Thanks very much Kathy. It's a combination of two photos. @olivetreeann Thank you so much Ann. It wasn't intended to be tied together like this. When I sat down to post it all came out. @jamibann Thank you Issi. I do too.
