This probably looks like a desperation choice…

Didn't intend to upload this one (rather just the lower image), but I can go with the composite image. Note: the Exif info was preserved from one of the images, the editing notwithstanding.
As I told @cynak today, despite the lovely weather outside, I would be replacing a noisy ceiling fan in our guest room. This shows that the job got done. Today.

Its hard at first to recognise what exactly these are.. I originally looked and thought they are precious stones, then I viewed larger and read your explanation.. Great photos.

@michelleyoung Thank you, Michelle. Note that the Exif info is still present. I think in your discussion thread, Heidi Gurov @hmgphotos has it exactly right. For this image, I opened the upper image, resized it, doubled the canvas size and pasted in the lower image. File > Save As and the Exif info is present for the initial file opened.
