One of the things about being a geek: gifts are sometimes puzzles and problems. (I think this set of 3D puzzles came from my brother. If you've never seen these sorts of things, the trick is to separate the two pieces without "forcing" them apart.) These are just some of the "toys" I have on the table in my office where I meet with students. It's interesting to see who's comfortable enough to just pick one up and "play" with it.
